NORTH VALLEY Homes For Sale
With a few exceptions, the North Valley is generally comprised of communities in Greater Phoenix north of the Loop 101 and east of Interstate 17. Homeowners in areas of the North Valley like Anthem, Carefree, or Cave Creek prefer a quieter life on the fringes of a big city to life in the thick of it.
Homes in the North Valley are never short of breathtaking views. Whether a home is sitting on a stunning hillside overlooking the Sonoran Desert, on a large lot near Black Mountain or Daisy Mountain, or overlooking Lake Pleasant, most agree that the trade-off for having to commute a few miles into town is well worth it.
A large variety of new shops and restaurants in this area, as well as a movie theatre, have further added to the area’s appeal. Interstate 17 connects most areas of the North Valley to the rest of Phoenix. Since areas of the freeway were recently widened, commuting to these outlying areas is faster than ever.
North Valley currently has 554 active listings. The average list price is $447,903 which equates to $144 per square foot. Most active listings here were built between the 1990s and the 2000s. The square footage of most homes in this area falls between 2,001 - 2,250 and 3,001 - 3,500 square feet. Architectural styles here principally include Ranch and Santa Barbara/tuscan homes for sale.
